Setting The Stage

Digibyte is a Los Angeles-based digital agency specialising in digital marketing, SEO, and graphic design. They needed a brand identity system that positioned them as a sophisticated, results-driven partner — not just another agency with a generic logo. We built a full visual identity: a geometric logomark, a brand colour system (Bloodstone red, Teal Splash, Ivory Mist, Coal Abyss), a typography guide using Helvetica, and a complete suite of social media templates, ID card systems, and branded collateral.

Challenge We Faced.

An agency's brand is its most powerful sales tool — it proves they can do for others what they've done for themselves. Digibyte needed to look credible to corporate clients while remaining approachable for growth-stage startups. The identity had to work at business-card size and billboard scale simultaneously.

Our Approach & Process

  • Research & Strategy

Brand positioning workshops identified three competitor archetypes to differentiate from: the corporate agency (cold, formal), the boutique studio (precious, expensive-feeling), and the freelancer collective (inconsistent, unreliable). Digibyte had to occupy none of those spaces.

  • Design & Development

Primary logomark built on a geometric construction grid — circular bisection with motion implied by the cut. Adapts cleanly to monochrome, reversed, and embossed applications.

  • Branding Elements

Four-colour system: Bloodstone (#D5443F), Teal Splash (#008080), Ivory Mist (#FDF5E6), Coal Abyss (#121212). Helvetica for consistency and authority. Social post templates designed for Instagram, LinkedIn, and display advertising.

  • User Experience Considerations

Full brand guidelines document with clear usage rules, exclusion zones, misuse examples, and co-branding guidelines. Figma component library delivered to the client team for self-service collateral creation.
